Episode 5 Sweet Home Season 3 begins with, Sang-won is shocked to see Yi-kyung is human. Firstly Yi-su had told him she had turned her mother. Secondly he tries to possess Yi-su but she screams. Finally sang-won drops her in frustration and locks her in the shed.
Meanwhile, Jae-jin encounters Monster Hyun-su. Jae-jin taunts him, calling him an imposter. Furthermore monster Hyun-su drags him back to the stadium. Kim and Eun-hyuk meet Eun-yu, who feels shocked to see her brother. However he spots Hyun-su and Jae-jin and crashes his car into them. Kim then beats up Jae-jin to avenge his fallen men. Eun-hyuk greets Hyun-su, who remains stuck in a bus. They recognize each other but Hyun-su won’t listen to Eun-hyuk’s proposal to team up. Then Eun-yu arrives and feels shocked by the fight.
But Chan-young prevents Jae-jin from burning Kim. Jae-jin’s real target is Hyun-su. He sets the bus on fire and runs off. Kim tries to take Eun-yu with him but she refuses. In fact Kim leaves with Chan-young and Ha-ni. Inside the bus, Eun-hyuk and Hyun-su feel frustrated with Jae-jin’s interruption. Eun-hyuk taunts Hyun-su to prove himself useful. Hyun-su creates an opening for Eun-hyuk to jump out. Hyun-su remains stuck while Eun-hyuk finds Eun-yu waiting outside. Eun-yu’s happiness fades as Eun-hyuk reveals he is a neohuman. He has memories but no emotions. He mocks Eun-yu for mourning him and reveals they are not real siblings. Eun-yu refuses to give up on him or Hyun-su.

At the stadium, Sang-won is upset and questions Lim. They deduce Sang-won needs to be near death to switch bodies. Inspired, Sang-won orders the Stadium Survivors to prepare for a bonfire. An infected Gi-chun flaunts his symptoms. Yeong-su hears that Yi-su is caught and runs to find her. Father Peter asks Ye-seul about Seon-hwa, who has worsened. Outside, Chan-young, Kim, and Ha-ni see Jae-jin enter the stadium. Lim tells Tak to knock out a girl and bring her. Lim then cuts Ja-young’s stomach for something that can turn infectees into MHs. Yeong-su finds the shed unattended and frees Yi-su. He offers to accompany her anywhere. She recalls his wish to be a monster and turns him. Cheol-jong sees her alone.

Episode 5 Sweet Home Season 3, Sang-won gathers everyone to find Yi-su. He claims she can make them powerful. The Crow Platoon assures Tak they won’t abandon him. Ye-seul tells Jin-ok the platoon plans to sneak people out. At the bus, Eun-hyuk decides to leave. Eun-yu calls him out for abandoning people. Hyun-su then escapes. The episode ends there.
