Esta TerBlanche, ‘All My Children’ Star, Passes Away at 51

Esta TerBlanche, known for playing Gillian Andrassy on “All My Children,” has passed away at 51. She died on Thursday at her home. Firstly the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner is still investigating the cause of death. Secondly her talent manager, Annie Spolianky, confirmed the news. Also remembered TerBlanche as a “wonderful, kind and loving person.”

TerBlanche starred as Gillian, a Hungarian princess, on “All My Children” from 1997 to 2001. Then her character faced dramatic storylines, including an assassin mistaking her identity and shooting her. But her character’s death, TerBlanche returned as Gillian’s ghost for one episode in 2011. When the show ended its long run on ABC. She shared that returning was emotional for her. And her co-star Cameron Mathison, as they hadn’t seen each other for years.

TerBlanche was born on January 7, 1973, in Rustenberg, South Africa. And won the Miss Teen South Africa title in 1991.
