Han Yu-Ri starts at Dawjeong Law Firm, wanting corporate law but ending up in divorce. Yu-Ri disagrees with Cha Eun-Kyung’s ideas and viewpoint.
During Yu-Ri’s college time, she went to Cha Eun-Kyung’s lectures in law school, making their differences stronger. On Yu-Ri’s first day, Cha Eun-Kyung gives her a divorce case. Nervous, Yu-Ri decides to do her best despite worries.
Cha Eun-Kyung tells Yu-Ri to push the client for a divorce agreement. Yu-Ri trusts her client, thinking he’s innocent. During the trial, Yu-Ri fights against the divorce, following her client’s wishes.
She finds out her client lied and is cheating. Even so, Cha Eun-Kyung says to keep arguing against the divorce.
Han Yu-Ri wins the arguments, helping her cheating client and hurting his wife. Realizing the wife’s pain, Yu-Ri feels unsure about winning.
After winning, Yu-Ri thinks she defended the wrong person. Back at the office, she checks the case papers to find her mistake. Stressed, she goes to a quiet place at the law firm to relax.
