Good partner Episode 3 begins with a flashback showing Eun-kyung’s husband joining her company as a medical expert. At a dinner celebrating this, Eun-kyung notices her husband and her secretary acting strangely and wanting to go together to buy more drinks, which she finds odd.
Later, Eun-kyung sees a message from a “Director Choi” on her husband’s phone, but finds no such director at his workplace. She also learns that her husband stopped working afternoon shifts at the hospital and discovers wedding pictures of her husband and Choi Sa-ra, revealing an affair.
In the present, Eun-kyung tells Yu-ri that she does not want a divorce. Her husband, however, insists on a divorce and tells her she means nothing to him. At the office, Eun-kyung asks Yu-ri to drop a case involving a new client. Even though the client is unsure, Yu-ri continues working on the case, hoping to help the client leave her abusive husband. Eun-kyung doubts the client will stay with the case.
Yu-ri accidentally spots Eun-ho on a blind date and learns that he goes on such dates to get off work early. He tricks Yu-ri into sharing details about Eun-kyung’s marriage but promises to keep it confidential.
The client begins wavering on the divorce despite encouragement from her daughter. Yu-ri receives threats from the client’s drunk husband who threatens suicide if she does not withdraw the divorce notice. She ignores the call.
Yu-ri discovers Choi Sa-ra lives in her building and figures out that Eun-kyung’s husband might be living with her. The next day, Yu-ri learns the client’s husband has attempted suicide and is in the hospital. The client blames Yu-ri, but Eun-Kyung tells her it’s not Yu-ri’s fault. Yu-ri feels guilty, but Eun-ho reassures her.
Good partner Episode 3 Ending Explained
Good partner Episode 3 ends with Yu-ri finds the man alive in the hospital, and the client decides to drop the case. Eun-Kyung visits the client, promising to take the case again when she’s ready. Eun-Kyung tells Yu-ri that accepting things and focusing on the future is important. Yu-ri decides to resign, explaining she can’t separate her personal and professional selves. She also reveals Eun-kyung’s husband and Sa-ra are living together and gives Eun-Kyung the address.
Eun-Kyung later sees her husband and Sa-ra together, which changes her perspective. She returns to the office and stops Yu-ri from resigning, asking her to take on the divorce case.
In Good Partner Episode 3, Yu-ri discovers the man alive in the hospital and the client drops the case. Eun-Kyung visits the client and promises to handle the case again in the future. Yu-ri decides to resign, revealing Eun-Kyung’s husband and Sa-ra’s living situation. However, Eun-Kyung’s perspective changes when she sees her husband and Sa-ra together.
