Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry: KO Highlight and Reactions

Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry: KO highlight shows Paul winning via sixth-round TKO, dominating Perry with three knockdowns and superior boxing. Jake Paul secured another knockout victory on Saturday night at the Amelie Arena in Tampa, Florida. He defeated Mike Perry via a sixth-round TKO in the main event of the MVP show. Paul’s boxing experience played a key role as Perry appeared inexperienced for such a major event. Paul dropped Perry three times before winning the fight.

The first knockdown was mainly due to the weight of Paul’s punch, and Perry wasn’t hurt badly at that point. The final knockout came after a series of punches in the sixth round. Perry got up, but he stumbled when he tried to move, prompting the referee to stop the fight.

Perry didn’t keep his hands up and took many hits throughout the match. His best round was the third, where Paul looked tired, and Perry’s pressure almost changed the fight’s direction. However, Paul regained control in the fourth round, using his jab and body shots to show Perry’s lack of boxing skills, leading to the knockout.

Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry : After the fight

Paul briefly talked about his win but focused more on his next opponent, Mike Tyson. Health issues delayed the original fight date between Paul and Tyson. Paul confirmed that the rescheduled fight with Tyson will happen on November 15 on Netflix. This event will be Netflix’s first live sports content, ahead of WWE Raw coming to the platform in 2025.

Paul also expressed interest in facing Perry in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) or Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) with the Professional Fighters League. Perry agreed to a rematch in either format. Paul’s most surprising callout was to current UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira. Pereira has shown interest in boxing, and Paul challenged him.

After the Perry fight, Paul even spoke with Pereira on FaceTime in the ring. However, it is unlikely that Paul will fight Pereira soon. Pereira is under contract with the UFC, which rarely allows its fighters to compete in other sports. As a champion and a major draw for the UFC, it’s even more unlikely for Pereira.

For now, fans of Paul’s crossover events can look forward to his fight with Tyson. Although Tyson is 59 years old, this match might offer more competition than Perry did on Saturday.
