Miss Night and Day episode 2 , Lee Mi Jin wakes up from a vivid dream of a cat playing with her aunt. Upon waking, she sees the same cat and follows it, only to find a photo with news of her aunt’s disappearance.
Despite her parents’ complaint to the police, no FIR has been registered. That day, Lee Mi Jin starts her new job as a cleaning staff, feeling a mix of excitement and determination. Unexpectedly, she encounters Gye Ji Ung, a prosecutor transferred to her office. Although shocked to see him, Gye Ji Ung does not remember her.
Gye Ji Ung is searching for an apartment and visits Lee Mi Jin’s father’s friend. He is shown a flat that has been vacant for a long time, rumored to be haunted. Unfazed, Gye Ji Ung decides to move in. Meanwhile, Lee Mi Jin talks to her friend, asking them to broadcast the news of a missing cat on their channel. Her friend mentions a new tenant in the long-locked flat. That night, Gye Ji Ung experiences unsettling dreams of a dead woman and hears strange voices in the flat, but dismisses them.
Firstly, Gye Ji Ung roams the countryside, possibly seeking clues or solace, as the mystery surrounding Lee Mi Jin’s aunt deepens. Secondly, a few days later, Ko Won, a well-known figure, arrives at the Seohan district office, drawing a large crowd of fans. Thirdly, amidst the excitement, someone throws acid at Ko Won, and Lee Mi Jin bravely intervenes, knocking the attacker out but finding herself in imminent danger as the acid is about to fall on her. Finally, Gye Ji Ung arrives just in time to save her.
Later, Gye Ji Ung visits Lee Mi Jin’s house to retrieve a lost file. Lee Mi Jin’s mother proudly mentions that her daughter is a civil servant. Lee Mi Jin, already home, promises to help find the file. That night, she becomes younger and goes to see Gye Ji Ung, requesting more time to locate the file. Despite her efforts, the file remains elusive.
Meanwhile, a woman desperately tries to escape a killer but is tragically caught and murdered. At that moment, the missing file is discovered. Gye Ji Ung hears about the woman’s death and rushes to the scene. The sight of the dead body triggers memories of his deceased mother. As he inspects the scene, he notices the killer escaping in a car.
Simultaneously, he receives a message from Lee Mi Jin saying she has found the file and is waiting for him. Realizing the imminent danger, Gye Ji Ung hurries to her. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, with Gye Ji Ung horrified to see the killer running over Lee Mi Jin with the car.

Episode 2 was thrilling. Lee Mi Jin adeptly manages life as an old woman and finds her work exciting. The mystery deepens with that presence in the flat, secrets in the file, and questions about her aunt’s fate. Who’s the murderer? Will Gye Ji Ung catch him? Can’t wait for the next episode!
