Episode 13 My Sweet Mobster begins with,” the story picks up immediately after Dong-Hee (Jae Chan) is attacked by a man. Seo Ji-Hwan (Uhm Tae-Goo) learns that the attacker is related to a girl who died in an accident involving Dong-Hee. Ji-Hwan requests a private conversation with the man and his mother in the office. There, both Ji-Hwan and Dong-Hee kneel to express their deep remorse and ask for forgiveness.
The employees of Ji-Hwan’s company and Go Eun-Ha (Han Sun-Hwa) try to console Dong-Hee, easing his heartbreak. Ji-Hwan then discusses with prosecutor Jang Hyun-Woo (Kwon Yul), who was also present. And they decide to collaborate to take down Cat Company boss, Go Yang-Hee.
Later, Joo Il-Young (Kim Hyun-Jin) visits Ku Mi-Ho (Moon Ji-In) and reveals his knowledge of her pregnancy. He expresses his desire to care for her and the baby, but Mi-Ho initially resists, believing Il-Young is acting out of guilt. Il-Young, however, professes his genuine romantic feelings for Mi-Ho and convinces her of his sincerity. They share an emotional kiss and embrace.
The episode also shows a tender moment between Go Eun-Ha and Seo Ji-Hwan, where Ji-Hwan helps Eun-Ha by tying her hair. Evoking memories of her childhood friend, Hyun-Woo. Eun-Ha then meets with prosecutor Jang Hyun-Woo to inquire about the true identity of the man she has been searching for. The prosecutor reveals it to be Seo Ji-Hwan. Overwhelmed, Eun-Ha rushes to Ji-Hwan.
Meanwhile, Ji-Hwan confronts his biological father, Seo Tae-Pyeong, a mafia boss, who demands Ji-Hwan abandon his current life and rejoin the gang. Ji-Hwan firmly refuses, especially when Tae-Pyeong brings Eun-Ha into the conversation, unsettling him.
