My Sweet Mobster episode 9 begins with Go Eun Ha and Jang Hyun Woo conversing seriously. Jang Hyun Woo informs Go Eun Ha that her childhood friend is well but not him. He withholds the truth that the childhood friend is actually Seo Ji Hwan, causing tension. Go Eun Ha goes back to Seo Ji Hwan’s place, feeling a mix of emotions. She shares with Ji Hwan the information she received from the prosecutor about her friend. Eun Ha then tells Ji Hwan about her plans to leave his place soon, sadly. The episode continues with Seo Tae Pyeong, Go Yang Hee’s boss, being released from prison unexpectedly. Seo Tae Pyeong immediately goes to Go Yang Hee’s place to take over the Cat Company. However, Ji Hwan decides not to approach Eun Ha after seeing her with the prosecutor.

After that, Eun Ha informs Seo Ji Hwan she has found a new place for herself. She tells Ji Hwan she will sign the papers for the new place tomorrow. Seo Ji Hwan has secretly booked a well-maintained, secure apartment for Eun Ha’s future stay. However, Ji Hwan fails to give her the apartment papers and pretends to be indifferent. Eun Ha becomes quite upset and talks to her friend about Ji Hwan’s behavior. She confesses to her friend that she has romantic feelings for Seo Ji Hwan. Despite her feelings, she doesn’t want them to grow due to Ji Hwan’s distance. This is why Eun Ha has decided to leave his house and find her own place.

Towards the end, Go Eun Ha signs the papers for her new rental place. She then meets prosecutor Jang Hyun Woo, and they sit on a park bench. They have drinks together, unaware that one of Seo Ji Hwan’s employees sees them. The employee rushes to inform Seo Ji Hwan about seeing Eun Ha and Jang Hyun Woo. Meanwhile, Ji Hwan is torn about his decision to let Eun Ha leave.

He gathers the courage to meet her but is informed of her location beforehand. Ji Hwan runs to see Eun Ha at the park, hoping to find her there. Eun Ha receives several desperate calls from Ji Hwan while at the park. As she finally answers, Jang Hyun Woo confesses his romantic feelings for her. Jang Hyun Woo tells Eun Ha he likes her, unaware Ji Hwan is listening nearby. Ji Hwan arrives just in time to hear Jang Hyun Woo’s confession to Eun Ha. The episode ends with Ji Hwan witnessing the prosecutor’s heartfelt confession.
