Red Swan Episode 3
Red Swan Episode 3 begins with Do-hyun rushing to meet Wan-soo after finding a video left by Ju-hyuk. He tells her about Ju-hyuk and hints that ISIS wasn’t behind her attack. Do-hyun has no proof but promises to investigate both Ju-hyuk’s death and her attack. He swears to protect her, but Wan-soo doubts him.
The episode flashes back two years to when Ju-hyuk and Do-hyun received an assignment to investigate the President’s close associates and their secret accounts. Do-hyun hesitated to spy on the President, but a superior insisted they had to do it as part of their duty. Ju-hyuk was also looking into the Hwain Group and the suspicious death of its Chairman. After Ju-hyuk’s death, Do-hyun begged to investigate but was denied. He believed Ju-hyuk’s death had no purpose and vowed to seek justice on his own.
Do-hyun stays close to Wan-soo
Now, Do-hyun stays close to Wan-soo while she works on keeping Chairwoman Park away from the Wow Foundation. Wan-soo wants to make the Foundation international to prevent Chairwoman Park from stealing its funds. She tells her brother that the Park family won’t use them as pawns and expresses concern about whether Chairwoman Park had a role in her attack.
Wan-soo is also worried about her husband Yong-guk’s illegitimate child, Jun-hee. She suggests to Ta-era that they move to Switzerland. Ta-era, however, wants another child and reveals that Yong-guk proposed to her to save himself after one of his famous girls died in his bed. Wan-soo is hurt but stands firm. At home, tensions rise between Wan-soo and Chairwoman Park over the Wow Foundation. Yong-guk questions why his affair doesn’t affect Wan-soo, and she calls him a mama’s boy. She asks him to send Ta-era away, but he says he needs to discuss it with his mother first.
Ta-era visits Chairwoman Park to ask for her help against Wan-soo. Chairwoman Park orders documents to deal with Wan-soo and plans to use Jun-hee to replace Wan-soo’s dead son. Wan-soo, upset, leaves the house. Do-hyun follows her and takes her to a beach to calm down. Later, they go to a vacation home where Yong-guk confronts Wan-soo and becomes aggressive. Do-hyun intervenes, saving Wan-soo and taking her home.

The next morning, Wan-soo is updated on Yong-guk, but she is indifferent. Ta-era tries to provoke Yong-guk against Wan-soo, but he pushes her away. Do-hyun, still investigating, tries to get information from Kyeong-ju about Yong-guk and the late Chairman. Kyeong-ju is suspicious and tight-lipped. Do-hyun reviews footage of Yong-guk’s recent activities but finds nothing useful. He realizes that Chairman Park didn’t die at the Grand Palace as reported and questions where and how he really died, and why Hwain Group is lying about it.
