Sweet Home Season 3 Episode 2 begins with, Yi-kyung wakes up with her missing eye restored but finds she cannot heal herself. Eun-yu tells her that Hyun-su made her human again but has been asleep. Yi-kyung decides to go after Mystery Girl, who turns humans into monsters, and plans to stop her. Eun-yu stays behind to look after Hyun-su and wonders about her brother.
Outside, Ho-sung remains unconscious. Chan-young worries about Ho-sung. Ha-ni feels upset because he doesn’t trust her. A flashback reveals Ho-sung saved Ha-ni by killing her monster parents, but she is furious with him for warning her against turning into a monster. She cuffs him to a trailer and storms off, while Chan-young comforts her, hoping Ho-sung will understand eventually.
Meanwhile, Bamseom MHs and Lim travel to the stadium in Kim’s car. Ja-yeong is in pain, and Jae-jin doesn’t trust her. Sang-won mentions he has a child and feels a connection through a gift he gave Yi-kyung. They find Cheol-jong hiding and learn that monsters don’t harm cocoons. Cheol-jong joins them but tries to leave when he notices Sang-won’s monster arm.

In the stadium, Tak’s men discover the basement and rescue Ye-seul. She has kept her son, Hyeon-u, locked up because of his symptoms. Tak threatens to kill her son, leading Ye-seul to stop her from taking her own life.Meanwhile, Mystery Girl tries to turn Yeong-su, who faces bullying. Ye-seul intervenes and takes both Yeong-su and Mystery Girl to Jin-ok. Sang-won and the Bamseom MHs arrive, causing chaos.
Lim, who has special medicine to turn infectees into MHs, sees Seok-chan dying and saves Kim instead. Kim eventually recovers, but Seok-chan is on the brink of death. Ha-ni, addicted to special leaves, finds Ho-sung turned into a monster and tries to save him. Ho-sung dies in an explosion, attracting a monster that attacks Ha-ni. Chan-young tries to save her while Eun-yu awakens Hyun-su, who is now a monster and attacks them.
