Casting
In August 2022, Kim Hee-ae and Han Suk-kyu were reportedly offered roles in the series. Firstly, Kim Hee-ae accepted the offer. Secondly, Han Suk-kyu was initially cast but then replaced. Thirdly, Sol Kyung-gu took over the role. Finally, this marked Sol Kyung-gu’s first lead role in a drama.
