Thunderbolts opened strong at the box office, earning \$76 million in North America alone. Globally, the film debuted with \$162.1 million, including a notable \$20 million from IMAX. Audiences loved it, giving it a 95% Rotten Tomatoes score and A- CinemaScore rating. The film stars Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan as part of a misfit superhero team.

Warner Bros.’ Sinners stayed strong with \$33 million, pushing its global total to \$236.7 million. Minecraft: The Movie climbed again with \$13.7 million, nearing \$1 billion in global ticket sales.

Alec Baldwin’s controversial Rust opened with only \$25,000 from 115 theaters in limited release. The film follows tragic events from 2021 when a prop gun killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
