On Monday, the U.S. defeated Germany 92-88 at London’s O2 Arena. LeBron James scored 20 points and the last 11 points. Certainly the win followed a close 101-100 victory over South Sudan. Finally James scored the winning layup in that game. Team USA also beat Serbia and Australia in Abu Dhabi. They previously won against Canada in Las Vegas on July 10.
At the Olympics, Team USA will play three games in Group C in Lille. They face Serbia on Sunday, South Sudan on July 31, and Puerto Rico on August 3. The knockout rounds move to Paris. The quarterfinals are on August 6, semifinals on August 8, and gold medal game on August 10 at Accor Arena.
